Our History

Windows Dressed Up’s Denver window fashion design center is the culmination of owners Bob and Linnie Leo’s 50 plus years of window fashions experience.

Bob’s life long career in the art of window fashion design and sales began in 1958 when he opened Leo’s Interiors in Denver. Looking to expand, Leo went on to establish Drapery Service and Design, offering both design and custom fabrication in a state of the art technical facility for over 20 years. Bob continued to fine-tune his technical and design knowledge by studying at both CSU and the Colorado Institute of Art. Expanding his vision in 1989, Bob started Pictures & Prices and began developing software for designing window fashions. This software eventually became the driving force that launched a leading window fashions franchise which today is a leader in the industry.

The second generation of the software Bob created, Xperity, is now used by Windows Dressed Up’s Certified Window Fashion Professionals to assist customers in the selection, pricing and ordering of their custom window fashions. Without Xperity, Windows Dressed Up could not offer the streamlined shopping experience that sets them apart from the rest of the industry.

Linnie has 40 plus years of experience in both commercial and residential interiors as well as window fashions. Throughout her career, she has held several managerial positions in the window fashion industry. Her expertise in textiles, color theory, furniture design and space planning provides an excellent background for creating inspiring and practical solutions to window dressing and accessory recommendations.

Linnie has completed extensive training by Hunter Douglas and is a Certified Professional Dealer (CPD) and a Professional Customer Management Program (PCMP).
